Kia Sportage​

The Kia Sportage has received a much needed refreshed look which includes changes to its engine and transmission options. The Sportage is even more eye-catching thanks to a few changes made to its exterior. The Sportage still maintains its assertive headlights but has now included unique LED daytime running lights and a revised tiger-nose grille. The new bumper design on this vehicle gives it a muscular look, together with new housing for the front fog lights.


Kia has kept the Ignite specification-grade as an entry-level for the Sportage however they have made changes to the overall grade. The Ignite model has fabric upholstery, as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel with remote controls built on and a leather-wrapped gearshift.

The SUV has 16” alloy wheels with 215/70 R16 rubber. The revised range of Ignite models has automatic folding mirrors together with an electro-chromatic rearview mirror and 17” wheels.

It even utilises smart technology by incorporating Voice Recognition and an update air-conditioning system.

The seats are now available in leather upholstery, and they have an electronic adjustment function. The infotainment system has been upgraded to 7” colour touchscreen which even incorporates the reverse camera and Apple CarPlay.

The Sportage EX is a sporty upgrade from other models and has 19” wheels as well as a panoramic sunroof.

Passengers at the back have access to the USB ports while the driver and the front passenger enjoy an 8” colour touchscreen with satellite navigation.

Kia has kept its familiar 2.0-litre MPI and 2.0-litre CRDI and has discontinued the 2.4 GDI and the 1.6 T-GDI.
